Basil and Claudia Fett Win
Preservation Award
The Springfield
Preservation Alliance presented their top award, the Spirit of
Preservation Award, to South Fountain’s own Basil and Claudia Fett at
their 2006 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. This award honors their
continuous work in advancing Springfield’s preservation movement.
Basil and Claudia, preservation pioneers in Springfield for over 25
years, were the “cornerstone building block and flagship” for the
restoration of South Fountain Avenue and the creation of South
Fountain Preservation. The board of South Fountain and all our
residents would like to congratulate Basil and Claudia for their
achievements.
